Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and a supporter of Donald Trump's second run for the presidency, has boldly predicted that Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will lose the next election. The tech billionaire made the prediction during a social media discussion.

An update on the German government was posted on X by a Swedish journalist who said, "The German Socialist government has COLLAPSED and there are now talks about a snap election."

In a subsequent retweet, the CEO of Tesla referred to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz as a "fool." "Olaf ist ein Narr," which translates to "Olaf is a fool," is what he wrote. The tweet was then replied to on social media with the message, "Elon Musk, we need your help in Canada to get rid of Trudeau." In response to his remark, "He will be gone in the upcoming election," Elon wrote.

The billionaire had previously criticized Justin Trudeau. He had before attacked the Trudeau administration for "stifling free expression" in Canada.

Following the Canadian government's decision to require online streaming providers to register for "regulatory controls," he made his final statement.

Then, Musk termed it "shameful" in a tweet on X, adding, "Trudeau is trying to crush free speech in Canada." Disgraceful.

In October 2025, Canada will hold its next election, which will be significant for Trudeau, who has headed the Liberal Party since 2013.

Trudeau's party will face up against other significant parties in the upcoming year, such as the Pierre Poilievre-led Conservative Party and the New Democratic Party, which by Singh Jagmeet. Other candidates include the Green Party and the Bloc Quebecois.
