After multiple attempted carjackings in Calgary, two people were apprehended.

Two people have been taken into custody by Calgary police in relation to a string of carjackings that occurred on Monday.

According to officials, the suspects tried to take three cars from a parking lot at 5949 Centre St. S.




The criminals were captured after colliding with a drainage ditch, but they managed to escape with a fourth car.

The owner of the car was unharmed.
