However, one myth needs to be debunked: that the main player in this dispute, the Khalistani militant killed last year, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, was a Canadian.

In reality, he was a foreign terrorist who, beginning in 1997, repeatedly applied for refuge in Canada using false documents. Despite his claims being denied, he was permitted to remain in this nation and was eventually awarded citizenship in 2007.

Nijjar was not a citizen of Canada. We should possibly revoke his citizenship after his death in order to correct this administrative mistake. Like the hundreds of thousands of phony asylum seekers currently in Canada, he ought to have been deported following his initial false claim.
