Synopsis: Iran has attacked Israel with missiles; according to the Israeli military, 180 missiles were fired, the majority of which were intercepted.

There have been "no clashes" thus far, an Israeli security officer told the BBC on Tuesday morning. However, a military spokeswoman later ordered residents of about 25 communities in Lebanon to leave.

The EU and UN have emphasized their requests for a cease-fire, and tomorrow is the UN Security Council meeting.

IDF: It's time for people to leave protected zones

The Israeli military has provided us with an update stating that citizens are "now permitted to leave protected spaces in all areas across the country".

The statement goes on, "We ask that the public maintain adherence to the directives issued by the home front command."
