The suspects were apprehended at a location close to the Federal University, Wukari. Upon their arrest, authorities confiscated two vehicles, 12 laptops, and 46 mobile phones as potential evidence of their involvement in fraudulent activities. The EFCC is known for its efforts to combat cybercrime across Nigeria, and these arrests are part of its ongoing commitment to disrupting and prosecuting such criminal networks.

The suspects are expected to be charged in court in the near future as the investigation into their activities continues. The commission often publishes updates on its operations and arrests to inform the public about its efforts and to serve as a deterrent to others who may be engaged in similar activities.

Cybercrime, particularly internet fraud, has become a significant problem in Nigeria, with a growing number of young individuals using various tactics to defraud unsuspecting victims, both locally and internationally. The EFCC's persistent actions against these criminals are essential in maintaining the integrity of the country's digital space and protecting the public from financial scams.
