Portage la Prairie RCMP are currently investigating a report of possible shots fired at a residence located in the RM of Norfolk, near Road 58 West and Road 67 North.

The incident occurred on August 9, 2025, around 7:30 am. A resident reported that a bullet was shot through the front window of the house and another into a camper parked on the property. Fortunately, no one inside the house was injured. However, no bullets were found at the scene.

The RCMP is asking for the public's assistance in gathering more information about the event. The investigation is ongoing with Portage la Prairie RCMP and RCMP Forensic Identification Services working to determine the details and find those responsible for this incident.
