The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has reported the arrest of 93 individuals suspected of internet fraud in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

This operation took place on Sunday, August 10, 2025, and was conducted by the Lagos Zonal Directorate 2 of the EFCC. The suspects were apprehended based on credible information regarding their involvement in various cyber crimes. In the process of the arrests, 18 vehicles and numerous mobile devices were confiscated. The suspects will face charges in court once the investigation has been completed. This action is part of the EFCC's ongoing efforts to combat cybercrime and bring perpetrators to justice.
