Jazakum Allahu khayran for reminding us of this important aspect of our deen.

Engagement is a serious commitment and a period of preparation for marriage, not a prelude to intimacy or a time to indulge in behavior that is not permissible in Islam. It is essential to remember that the ultimate goal of our lives is to attain the pleasure of Allah and that all our actions should be in accordance with the Qur'an and Sunnah.
