Due to wildfire smoke, Calgary is predicted to have "extremely poor" air quality

Calgary's projected extremely poor air quality is a result of wildfire smoke.

On Monday night, extremely bad air quality in Calgary is predicted due to wildfire smoke.

In a special air quality statement released on Monday afternoon, Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) warned that visibility will be limited and air quality would be lower in certain parts of the city.


It was predicted that the Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) will increase to a nine, signifying high danger.
