We are committed to protecting Canadians' freedom to choose how they make their purchases. That's why we are opposed to the establishment of a central bank digital currency (CBDC) that could threaten the use of cash. Thanks to the efforts of MP Ted Falk, a bill has been introduced to safeguard Canadians' right to use cash instead of CBDCs. We will continue to support this initiative and ensure that Canadians have a choice in how they make their transactions."
