UPDATE ON MY STOLEN RAY-BAN AI GLASSES & AKU VICTOR CHIEMERIE

I am compelled to provide a crucial update on the brazen theft of my Ray-Ban Meta AI-powered glasses, which were snatched by Aku Victor Chiemerie during the #PoliceProtest at Force Headquarters on July 21st, 2025. After conducting an exhaustive investigation, I can now confirm that Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Olumuyiwa Adejobi is in possession of the stolen device.

It is appalling to learn that ACP Adejobi, rather than upholding the law, has chosen to violate it by presenting the stolen glasses to the illegal Inspector General of Police (IGP). The IGP, in a gross abuse of power, has instructed ACP Adejobi to hack the device in search of "incriminating footage." This move is not only a flagrant disregard for the law but also a blatant violation of my digital privacy and personal property.

In a desperate bid to extract the footage, ACP Adejobi has sent the glasses to the Police Digital Forensics Unit, which is tasked with tracking kidnappers. However, the unit has hit a roadblock, as the glasses do not have an external SD card, making it impossible to access the data without proper credentials. This obstacle has not deterred ACP Adejobi, who is now pressuring the team to hack the glasses by any means necessary, including requesting them to contact Ray-Ban Meta to purchase my credentials at all costs.

I must emphasize that ACP Muyiwa Adejobi's actions are tantamount to criminal theft, and not law enforcement. It is unconscionable that a high-ranking police officer would engage in such illicit activities, compromising the integrity of the Nigeria Police Force.

Meanwhile, Aku Victor Chiemerie, the perpetrator of the theft, has gone into hiding. However, I have received credible information that he plans to resurface at the House on the Rock Church in Abuja tomorrow with his wife. I urge anyone who encounters this national thief to demand that he returns my stolen Ray-Ban Meta glasses.

I will continue to monitor this situation closely and provide updates as necessary. It is imperative that we hold our law enforcement agencies accountable and ensure that they uphold the law, rather than violating it.
