In a statement jointly issued by the caucus coordinator, Hon. Rufai Chanchangi, and Hon. Atiwurcha, following the 2025 Dialogue Session in Abuja, they affirmed their stance in favor of the nation's unifying foundation, which emphasizes the rotation of power between the Northern and Southern regions. The caucus underscored the importance of President Tinubu, hailing from the South, completing his two-term tenure, arguing that it serves the North's best interests and contributes to the country's peace and stability. The National Chairman of the Forum, Hon. Nnanna Igbokwe, praised the Northern Caucus for what he described as a "courageous and patriotic stance" regarding the issue of power rotation, asserting that President Tinubu's leadership and dedication to national unity merit their steadfast support. Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, attended the event and urged Northern political leaders to lend their support to President Tinubu's administration.
