Govind Park Reborn: Four R Stadium Unveiled in Ba

In a significant milestone for the people of Ba, the redeveloped Govind Park, now christened as the Four R Stadium, formally opened its doors yesterday (31.07.25). This momentous occasion marks a triumphant comeback for the park, which suffered extensive damage in the wake of Cyclone Winston in 2016.

Gracing the occasion was the Honorable Minister for Housing and Local Government, Maciu Nalumisa, who highlighted the stadium's revamped identity as a testament to the power of sports in driving social and economic progress. "The Four R Stadium is more than just a sports venue – it's a beacon of hope, unity, and empowerment for our youth and the local community," Minister Nalumisa emphasized.
