Just hours after President Donald Trump reduced the timeframe for Russia to achieve a ceasefire with Ukraine, Russian airstrikes resulted in the deaths of at least 27 individuals, including a pregnant woman in a maternity hospital.


In a targeted assault on the Belenkivska correctional facility in Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region, Russian forces dropped four guided bombs shortly before midnight on Monday, resulting in the deaths of 17 inmates, according to the Justice Ministry. The attack "completely destroyed" the colony's dining hall and caused "significant damage" to its administrative building and quarantine area.
