Moreau's extensive expertise is expected to be instrumental in advancing the government's legislative objectives, which are focused on reducing costs for Canadians, ensuring community safety, and fostering a robust, unified Canadian economy. This appointment follows the retirement of the previous Government Representative in the Senate, Senator Marc Gold, whom the Prime Minister has thanked for his dedicated service.
