We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Hand Packer in our busy food store in Edmonton, Alberta. If you have experience in packing food products and are interested in a role that involves working with a variety of items, then this job is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manually pack various food items into containers, bags, or boxes according to order specifications and company standards
- Ensure the quality and freshness of the products being packed
- Label and code products with weights, prices, and expiration dates
- Operate packaging equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all health and safety protocols
- Assist in receiving and storing stock
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role is an asset
- Ability to lift and move items up to 20 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food handling certification is preferred
- Flexibility to work in various shifts, including evenings and weekends
