The new routes include flights to Guadalajara, Mexico; Panama City, Panama; Tepic (Riviera Nayarit), Mexico; Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; and Cozumel, Mexico. These additions will bring the total number of non-stop destinations available from Calgary to 98. The airline's focus for this winter schedule is on enhancing domestic connectivity, increasing the frequency of flights to Tokyo, and extending year-round service to Mexico City. This move aims to meet the demand for sunny vacations and provide travelers with more options at affordable prices. The executive vice-president and chief commercial officer of WestJet, John Weatherill, expressed excitement for the growth in service and the opportunity to connect more people with their travel dreams.
