Flights Halted at Italy's Bergamo Airport After Reported Engine Incident.

All flights at Bergamo-Orio al Serio Airport were halted from 10:20 a.m. until noon local time on Tuesday following an incident on the runway. Local media reports indicated that the disruption was triggered when an individual ran onto the tarmac and was reportedly sucked into an aircraft engine. The airport authority for Bergamo Milan stated that the flights were suspended due to an issue that occurred on the taxiway. An investigation is currently in progress.
