Expansion of the number of residency positions at UBC’s family medicine program

Premier Eby expressed that the government has been making significant efforts to enhance opportunities for family doctors to receive their training in British Columbia.


We have expanded the number of residency positions at UBC's family medicine program and are in the process of establishing a new medical school at SFU, which is scheduled to commence classes next year. Last Friday, Cailey and Eby enjoyed a lively visit with the new residency students from across the province during their orientation at UBC.
