The Department of Justice (DOJ) has recently achieved a significant milestone in human resource management (HRM) by earning level 2 accreditation under the Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management (PRIME-HRM) of the Civil Service Commission (CSC). This recognition underscores the agency's commitment to enhancing the rights and welfare of government employees and fostering a culture of excellence in public service.

During the three-day assessment, DOJ officials and employees demonstrated their proficiency in implementing HR systems across four core areas: Recruitment, Selection, and Placement; Learning and Development; Performance Management; and Rewards and Recognition. The department scored a perfect 100% rating in all these areas, highlighting the effectiveness of its policies and guidelines.

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin "Boying" C. Remulla emphasized the importance of this achievement in realizing the vision of a Bagong Pilipinas, where the pursuit of excellence and meritocracy is a priority. He congratulated Undersecretaries Frederick A. Vida and Margarita N. Gutierrez, Assistant Secretary for Personnel Management and Development, Administrative Service Director Liza De Leon, Planning and Management Director Vanya Isabel Maneja-Kharazmi, Personnel Division Chief Leonyda Angostora, and all DOJ employees for their contributions to this success.

The PRIME-HRM accreditation is a testament to the DOJ's efforts to improve HR practices, ensuring that the agency is staffed with highly skilled and motivated individuals capable of delivering real justice to the public. The accreditation process is aligned with the administration's broader objective of promoting transparency, efficiency, and service-oriented governance.
