As SUNNY OFEHE stepped off the plane in Abuja, the warmth of the Nigerian sun enveloped me, welcoming me back to my homeland. The excitement was palpable as he  prepared to reunite with my boss, Mr. Ebikabowei Victor, affectionately known as General Boyloaf. His thoughtful gesture of sending a vehicle to pick me up set the tone for a remarkable homecoming.

As we drove through the city, he couldn't help but feel a sense of nostalgia wash over me. The vibrant culture, rich history, and infectious enthusiasm of the Nigerian people always leave me feeling revitalized. I cherished the opportunity to reconnect with my roots, indulging in the nation's unique charm, from the bustling metropolises to the serene natural landscapes.

My lunch reunion with General Boyloaf was a highlight of my trip. His warm hospitality and delightful company made the experience truly unforgettable. We shared laughter, stories, and warmth, creating memories that will last a lifetime. In that moment, I felt grateful for the chance to bond with my boss outside of our professional roles, solidifying our bond as more than just colleagues.

As he reflect on my Abuja adventure,  he reminded of the importance of embracing my heritage and the value of strong relationships. This homecoming was a poignant reminder of the beauty of Nigeria and its people. He will carry the warmth and hospitality of this experience with me, always.
