To the families, friends, and communities of the two individuals who lost their lives in the tragic plane crash near Vermilion, Alberta:

On behalf of Shannon Stubbs, the Member of Parliament for Lakeland, I want to extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences. The sudden and unexpected nature of this tragedy has no doubt left a profound sense of shock and grief among all those who knew and loved the 46-year-old pilot from Slave Lake and the 76-year-old passenger from Mannville.

During these dark moments, it is essential that we come together as a community to support one another. The pain of losing a loved one is immeasurable, and we recognize that this is an incredibly difficult time for you. We are here for you, and we stand with you in mourning.

Shannon Stubbs wishes to express her sincere appreciation for the emergency responders and local authorities who have worked tirelessly in the aftermath of the crash. Their dedication and professionalism are a testament to the strength and resilience of our communities.
