In his remarks, Trump said: "Iran has officially responded to our destruction of their nuclear facilities with a very limited retaliation, which we anticipated, and we have effectively managed. Out of 14 missiles launched, 13 were intercepted, and 1 was allowed to proceed because it was not heading towards a threatening target. I'm happy to report that no Americans were harmed and the damage was negligible.

Most importantly, they seem to have exhausted their options, and we hope this leads to a reduction in hostilities. I appreciate Iran for the advance warning, which allowed us to prevent any casualties or injuries. Perhaps this will encourage Iran to move towards peace and harmony in the region, and I will wholeheartedly urge Israel to follow suit. Thank you for your attention!" — Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America
