Python Automation Test Consultant - 7+ Years Experience - Toronto Capital Market

We are seeking to hire a Python Automation Test Consultant for our Banking Client located in Toronto.
Team: Automation, Capital Markets
Contract: 6 months - Contract to Hire
Interviews: 2 rounds (Technical & Behavioral) conducted via Microsoft Teams.
Location: downtown office in Toronto (Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office)

✅ Over 7 years of experience in test automation and software testing.
✅ Proficient in Python programming specifically for test automation.
✅ Practical experience with Robot Framework for test automation purposes.
✅ Background in testing web applications, APIs (REST Assured), and databases.
✅ Familiarity with Selenium or other automation tools is advantageous.
✅ Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
✅ Knowledge of BDD/TDD methodologies and frameworks like PyTest and Behave.
✅ Strong grasp of test case design, debugging, and defect tracking processes.
✅ Experience with cloud environments, particularly Azure, is a plus.
✅ Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
