On Tuesday, Shannon Stubbs met with my colleague and close friend, Damien C. Kurek, who has decided to resign so that our Conservative leader can seek the trust and confidence of the people in Battle River-Crowfoot as he prepares to return to Parliament and advocate for Canadians.

Since his election in 2019, Damien has been a passionate advocate for the Battle River-Crowfoot community and for Western Canada in Ottawa. Stubbs have had the pleasure of getting to know him, his wife Danielle, and their family, and she can attest to his unmatched dedication to the Conservative movement and his communities.
