Taylor Swift recently spoke out about the fear and guilt she experienced after her Vienna concerts were canceled due to a terrorist threat. Austrian authorities uncovered a plot involving a 19-year-old who had pledged allegiance to ISIS and was allegedly planning an attack on Swift's shows at the Ernst Happel Stadium, where over 170,000 fans were expected to attend.

Swift expressed that the situation filled her with a "new sense of fear" and a "tremendous amount of guilt" as she reflected on the cancellation, knowing how many people had been looking forward to the concerts. She chose to stay silent initially, explaining that it was an incredibly emotional and complex situation to process. Despite the devastation, she was moved by the outpouring of love and unity from her fans in response to the threat.

No replacement dates for the canceled concerts have been announced, but Swift has continued her Eras Tour, completing the European leg in London shortly afterward.
