"As the cost of living in Canada continues to skyrocket, it's becoming increasingly clear that immediate action is needed to address the staggering food price inflation that's putting a strain on Canadian families. The latest statistics from StatsCan paint a grim picture, with food costs expected to rise even further in the coming months. This is a direct result of the Liberal government's ill-conceived tax and spend policies, which have led to inflation rates soaring to the highest levels in the G7.

Yesterday's decision by the NDP to prop up the Liberal government in voting against the Conservative motion for a spring budget to tackle out-of-control grocery costs is nothing short of astonishing. It's a blatant disregard for the financial struggles faced by everyday Canadians, who are desperate for relief from the crushing burden of rising food prices.

In light of this, it's imperative that Prime Minister Carney takes swift action to address this crisis. Tabling a budget that prioritizes the needs of all Canadians is the first step towards providing the relief that's so desperately needed. The time for partisan politics is over; it's time for decisive leadership that puts the interests of Canadians above all else. The question is, will Prime Minister Carney rise to the challenge and offer a budget that truly serves the people, or will he continue to follow the same failed policies that have brought us to this point?"
