Diversity Visa Lottery will no longer be free.

According to reports, the Diversity Visa Lottery will no longer be free under the administration of President Donald Trump, as it has been in the past. New changes have been implemented, with application fees set at $250, and individuals completing DS-260 forms will be required to pay $400.

Each year, 55,000 immigrant visas are allocated through the Diversity Visa Lottery for individuals from countries with low immigration rates to the United States. The US Department of State randomly selects applications from all eligible entries.
