Today signifies the commencement of National Reconciliation Week.

In 2025, my aspiration for Australia is that every future day will be influenced by the compassion, kindness, and respect that unites Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples with non-Indigenous Australians in a spirit of reconciliation.

Furthermore, I hope that during National Reconciliation Week, we can all discover methods of Bridging Now to Next—renewing our dedication to walking together and fostering reconciliation.
