FG unveils Digital Platform for Citizenship and Business Management

The Federal Government of Nigeria has launched an Online Citizenship and Business Management Platform as part of President Bola Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda. This initiative, introduced by the Ministry of Interior, aims to enhance transparency, improve operational efficiency, and provide better public service delivery. The platform, available at https://interior.gov.ng, offers a digital solution for managing various services, including business permits and citizenship applications.

The platform features an Expatriate Quota System to facilitate the hiring of foreign workers in compliance with the country's immigration laws. It allows companies to apply for and manage work permits easily. Additionally, the Citizenship Administration and Management System provides a convenient online process for individuals to apply for, track, and manage their Nigerian citizenship applications and related services.

This digital transformation is intended to simplify the process for both local and foreign businesses and individuals, offering a more user-friendly experience and reducing the time required for processing.
