WANTED INDIVIDUAL ARRESTED IN PORTLAND FOLLOWING INTELLIGENCE-DRIVEN OPERATION BY ST. MARY POLICE

On May 8, during an intelligence-driven operation in the Snow Hill region of Portland, a police unit from the St.
Mary Policing Division arrested 33-year-old Jason Anderson, also known as 'Skidda' or 'Skebo' from the Sandside district of Port Maria, St. Mary, and Hilltop, Snow Hill, Portland. Anderson was sought in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in Sandside in 2022 and has since been charged with Illegal Possession of a Firearm, Illegal Possession of Ammunition, and Wounding with Intent. On March 9, 2022, he allegedly shot and injured a construction worker following a dispute with another individual, during which he threatened the man and subsequently returned with a firearm to shoot at him. Anderson was taken into custody around 9:45 a.m. on May 8 and is set to appear in the Port Maria Parish Court on May 15.
