This event commemorated the 80th anniversary of the defeat of Nazi Germany in World War II and is recognized as Russia's most significant secular holiday. The parade and accompanying ceremonies highlight Moscow's efforts to assert its global influence and reinforce its alliances, especially in light of the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, which has now extended into its fourth year. On May 8, 2025, General Musa participated in the Wreath Laying Parade at Red Square, honoring the heroes of the Russian Federation who sacrificed their lives during WWII. The ceremony commenced at 09:00 (GMT+3) and saw the attendance of over 40 delegates, including about 32 heads of government. Eli Ephizzy
