Through Technology, We Will Reclaim Our Forests From Terrorists, Tinubu Promises Nigerians President Bola Tinubu has pledged that his administration will reclaim Nigeria's forests from terrorists using technological resources.

Tinubu expressed his commitment to regaining control over ungoverned areas, especially forests in the Northwest and across the nation, by deploying advanced surveillance and technology to combat kidnapping, banditry, and terrorism. "We will increase our investment in technology and take back our forests," Tinubu stated during his address to Katsina elders and leaders at a state dinner held at the Government House on Friday evening.

This announcement was shared in a press release from his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga. The statement was titled 'We will safeguard our forests and enhance surveillance in the Northwest, President Tinubu assures in Katsina.' Nigeria's Northwest has faced significant terror activities over the past decade.
