The City of Calgary has announced plans to pave the north parking lot at Edworthy Park, located at the end of Shaganappi Trail N.W. To help cover the cost of this project, they are considering the implementation of paid parking. To gather input and provide information, several sessions have been scheduled:

- **May 5:** 7:30-9:30 a.m. - An information session will take place at the park, east of Angel's Cafe.
- **May 9:** 5-7:00 p.m. - A feedback session will also be held at the same location.
- **May 28:** 5-7:00 p.m. - A meeting for residents to discuss the changes will be hosted at the Nifty Fifties Seniors Association in the Parkdale Community Hall.

The proposal is still under review, and the city is encouraging community members to attend these sessions to voice their opinions and ask questions. If the necessary permit is approved, construction is tentatively scheduled to begin by spring 2026.

Please note the change in dates and locations for these important community events. Stay informed and make your voice heard on the future of parking at Edworthy Park. (Source: CBC)
