🇷🇺🇨🇺 On April 29, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov held a meeting with Cuba's Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla during the BRICS Foreign Ministers Council gathering.

 
The two ministers engaged in a traditionally confidential and constructive exchange of views on various aspects of enhancing their strategic bilateral partnership. They emphasized their mutual commitment to maintaining robust political dialogue between Moscow and Havana and discussed expanding cooperation in key areas, particularly trade and economics. 🌐 They coordinated their positions on significant regional and international issues, highlighting both countries' determination to strengthen collaboration within the #UN, #EAEU, #BRICS, and other multilateral organizations. They reiterated their shared opposition to the imposition of unilateral illegitimate sanctions. The ministers reaffirmed their unified stance on the urgent need to immediately end the United States' trade, economic, and financial blockade of Cuba and to remove Cuba from its list of so-called state sponsors of terrorism. ✍️ They also signed a Declaration between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Cuba outlining strategies to counter, mitigate, and address the negative impacts of unilateral coercive measures. #RussiaCuba
