Subject: Concerns About Recent Vandalism in Our Community Dear Community Members, We regret to inform you of recent incidents of sign vandalism occurring in our neighborhood.

These signs have been defaced with homophobic slurs, which constitutes a hate crime and is completely unacceptable in our community. If you recognize the individual in the photo below, or if you have information about the white Jeep seen in the background, please report it to Calgary Police Service Non-Emergency at 403-266-1234, or you can file a report online through Crime Stoppers.
This image was captured in the Valley Meadows area on April 20, 2025, at 11:45 PM. Our community resource officer has been made aware and is diligently pursuing the appropriate steps to investigate this matter and provide support to our residents. We appreciate that individuals may have varying political beliefs, and that healthy dialogue is essential in any democratic society. Nonetheless, our community will not tolerate any form of hate, slurs, or language that harms others. We firmly oppose discrimination in all its forms and are committed to creating a safe and respectful environment for everyone.
