Two individuals are in critical condition following a shooting incident in northeast Calgary on Thursday evening.

Emergency services responded to a residence in the Coral Springs neighborhood, located near 68 Street NE and Coral Spring Boulevard NE, shortly before 11 PM after receiving reports of gunfire.

Calgary police reported that two individuals were discovered with life-threatening injuries.

Details regarding any suspects have not yet been released.

Authorities have stated that there is no ongoing threat to public safety, and the investigation is currently in progress.
