This week, the Secretary of State under Trump had the boldness to question Canada's sovereignty on our territory.

I reject that notion.

Canada is not up for negotiation.

In contrast to Scott Moe, I do not dismiss Trump's statements as mere rhetoric that should not be taken at face value.

I regard any threat to Canada's sovereignty with utmost seriousness.

We will not become the 51st state.

That is an impossibility.

Let us stand firm, friends.

If Canada can't accept 51st state
Canada requires a standardized security framework both internally and at its borders, along with the establishment of an anti-crime and corruption agency across all organizations, as well as uniform job security measures.
