Living biography of Michelle Chinwendu Alozie

Professional football player Michelle Chinwendu Alozie is a forward for the Houston Dash of the National Women's Soccer League.

She is an international representative for Nigeria and was born in the United States. On June 10, 2021, Alozie earned her Nigerian international debut by substituting in the 65th minute of a friendly defeat to Jamaica.Alozie was training with the Dash when the game took place in Houston as part of the 2021 US Summer Series. Randy Waldrum, the manager of the Nigerian national team, included her to the team's roster following a single practice the day before. Alozie scored her first (and so far only) goal for Nigeria in an exciting 3-3 draw against Portugal in the second game of the series. Alozie in June 2023 was included in Nigeria's 23-player FIFA Women's World Cup team for 2023. As one of the top African players in the globe, Alozie was included in the CAF Women's Africa Best XI in December 2023. Alozie made an appearance in the inaugural season of The Offseason in 2024.
