Happy flag day in Canada

Every year on February 15, people celebrate National Flag of Canada Day (French: Jour du drapeau national du Canada), which is often abbreviated as Flag Day, in remembrance of the flag's debut on that day in 1965. The flag is flown, there are sporadic public ceremonies, and educational events are held in schools to commemorate the day. Although the creation of a public holiday has been discussed, it is not now one.
