H.E. Ambassador Hadera Abera congratulated students from Ethiopia

H.E. Ambassador Hadera Abera congratulated students from Ethiopia and other African countries for successfully finishing the prestigious Australia Awards Africa short course on "Financing Climate Action" at Curtin University during the closing ceremony of the course today. He emphasized the program's significance in tackling Africa's development issues, especially those related to food security and climate resilience. Ambassador Hadera praised the ongoing assistance provided by the Australian Government through research partnerships and capacity-building programs, such as the "Africa-Australia Partnership for Climate Responsive Agriculture." Additionally, he highlighted Ethiopia's efforts to mitigate climate change by promoting reforestation and ensuring food security through programs like the Green Legacy Initiative. He congratulated the graduates and recognized their efforts to address environmental issues and promote sustainable development.
