The US government and law enforcement view the Canadian government and RCMP as so comprised they're now conducting investigations into Canada without Canada's  cooperation.
This is huge. Trump's tariffs were a warning shot. Canada shares the largest unguarded border in the world with the United States. If they perceive Canada as enough of a national security threat to launch investigations without our involvement, then this means our own agencies are no longer trusted, which means the American administration views our government as potentially  hostile. When the insurement in Marco Carney  like the chosen minister is having a mountain of  trouble to  solve because their relationship  adjacent than  treated ones.
Canada is not a serious  place. Trump knows and  takes action.
