P. Smith:Thank you to the brave members of EPS who helped keep our communities

Gratitude is extended to the courageous personnel of EPS for ensuring the safety of our communities through this significant narcotics seizure. This amount of fentanyl could've been responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of people. Our government will be taking greater steps to significantly increase police and prosecutorial resources so that we can continue shutting down Fentanyl labs and putting the kingpins and dealers behind bars where they belong.

Kudos to the Edmonton Police Service @edmontonpolice for their commendable efforts in addressing the fentanyl epidemic through their latest operation. Your dedication to public safety and commitment to combating the opioid epidemic not only helps protect our community but also sets an important example in the fight against illegal drugs. Thank you for your hard work and vigilance in making Edmonton a safer place.
