'Giving heart attacks with no apology' stated First Bank.

After the bank failed to publicly apologize or provide an explanation for the ongoing transaction failures that had plagued the institution for a long time, the customers' annoyance reached a breaking point. Customers have been vocally complaining on the bank's social media platforms for days, according to a thorough investigation by PM News on Thursday. Their complaints range from trapped funds and unauthorized debits to an inability to facilitate transfers or receive monetary inflows. The situation's origins can be found at the time following the announcement of a system migration by the bank. The bank said in an October 2024 statement that it would be switching from its existing financial and procurement platforms to a new cloud-based platform that would offer more features and advantages.
However, what was first expected to lead to brief service interruptions has now turned into a lengthy and unexplained disaster, leaving many Nigerians completely confused and frustrated. The bank's website received a harsh criticism from a customer named Monica Okenyi, who has become more frustrated with the bank's poor performance: "How heartless can you people be? For the past 24 hours there have been several complaints regarding your service and not a single official post to recognize it and calm the situation down. I don't hold Una O accountable. Since practically everything is broken in our lawless nation, why won't you people be more sensible? Praise God David, another client, conveyed his dissatisfaction and unhappiness with the network of banks, putting it simply: "What's going on with the first bank? The network is awful. On Sunday, Olamide Adams related a personal story of how he had to pay for a dinner twice since his First Bank app was broken due to technical difficulties at the bank. Because my first bank app was down and the woman selling the food thought I was lying, he wrote: "You made me wash plates where I went to eat and still let me pay double money." Having only my first bank as my only bank is currently my biggest regret. Due to technical difficulties at the bank, Lawrence Adejoh bemoaned the fact that he had not yet received his wage, saying: "I Despite all of my coworkers receiving alerts, I haven't received my income because I'm using First Bank. What's the matter with this bank? Anietimfon Rita stated: "I transferred money using the mobile app to purchase an item, but it has been hanging since yesterday.
