The Russian gas supply to Australia is cut off.

In a move that suggests Moscow's final gas supplies to Europe are rapidly coming to an end, Russia informed Austria that it will stop delivering gas through Ukraine as of right now.

At the end of this year, a pipeline that dates back to the Soviet era and travels through Ukraine to sell gas to Europe will close.

In an attempt to deny Russia money that Kyiv claims support the war against it, Ukraine has declared that it would not renew its transit arrangement with Russian state-owned Gazprom.
