A new and more economical route to Lake Louise is now available to Calgarians.

With the expansion of their route network, FlixBus has given people another way to travel to the mountains without having a car or having to worry about parking.

International students and tourists can easily access the mountain parks west of the city thanks to the bus service. In the morning and afternoon, FlixBus picks up passengers in downtown Calgary and the area around Crowfoot.

FlixBus now operates buses between Calgary and Banff as well as between Calgary and Edmonton.

According to Rafi Tumarkin, senior business development manager at FlixBus, their service meets the demand for reasonably priced travel with a ticketing system similar to that of airlines.

"We put a lot of emphasis on affordable intercity travel," he explains. Thus, it will never be an option that will cost you a fortune to view some of Canada's stunning scenery.

Passengers tell CityNews that using the bus service has numerous additional advantages over driving, including the opportunity to enjoy scenery, legroom, and onboard restrooms.

The Lake Louise service runs five days a week, but from December 23 to January 5, it will run every day.
