TRUMP CONSIDERS THE UK PM TO BE "WOKE LIGHTWEIGHT"

As Trump sees PM Keir Starmer as a "woke lefty" and a "novice" on the international scene, U.S. analyst Nile Gardiner cautioned of a chilly future for UK-U.S. ties under Starmer.

Following 100 Labour party activists' campaign for Kamala in the United States, which sparked a Trump campaign complaint on foreign meddling, tensions increased.

He says that by firing Foreign Secretary David Lammy, a strong opponent of Trump, Starmer could placate him.

He does not, however, believe the Labour leader can collaborate with Trump's incoming government.
