Fighting in northern Gaza claimed the life of one IDF soldier and critically inj

The military reports that another soldier lost his life while battling in the northern Gaza Strip, bringing the total number of casualties in the ground attack that Hamas launched on October 7 of last year to 350.

He is identified as 20-year-old Kadima-Zoran resident Staff Sgt. Noam Israel Abdu of the Bislamach Brigade's 17th Battalion.

According to the Israel Defence Forces, Abdu's death occurred during an incident in which another soldier was gravely injured.Separately, during combat in southern Lebanon, a reserve from the 7012th Battalion of the Alexandroni Brigade suffered critical injuries.
