Saudi Arabia and Pakistan have established a mutual defence agreement, according to state media from both nations.

This pact stipulates that any attack on either Saudi Arabia or Pakistan will be considered an attack on both, thereby enhancing their security alliance. The agreement was signed in Riyadh on September 17, 2025, by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, representing a significant development in their long-standing security partnership.
