Calgary has announced measures to address the issue of noisy vehicles, having issued seven tickets so far. Additionally, the Traffic Safety Team has given out 2,200 tickets for various traffic safety violations.

Seventeenth Avenue has received numerous complaints regarding loud vehicles. The City of Calgary initiated a campaign this summer aimed at reducing the noise from vehicles that travel through both residential and commercial areas, impacting residents, customers, and pedestrians.
